Lancaster University was founded in 1964. It is a public university located at South Lancashire, England.
Lancaster has a global reputation for excellence. The university is internationally recognised for both outstanding teaching and research. The Business School (LUMS) is among the top 100 in the world and our Law School is ranked the best in the northwest of England
