Lancaster University was founded in 1964. It is a public university located at South Lancashire, England.
Lancaster has a global reputation for excellence. The university is internationally recognised for both outstanding teaching and research. The Business School (LUMS) is among the top 100 in the world and our Law School is ranked the best in the northwest of England

Lancaster University is one of the few UK universities to have a collegiate system. The university has nine colleges in total, and every student belongs to a college no matter they live on campus or choose to commute.
